An e-book is nothing more than a digital file. It's like a Microsoft Word document or some other file. I prefer to adapt my e-books to a .PDF format which simply means you'll need Adobe Reader to open my e-book.
If you don't have Adobe Reader, it's a free download from
Once you reach that web site, slide your mouse to the right until you get to the "Downloads" menu, then slide your mouse down to "Get Adobe Reader." The web-site will take you through the process and it's really simple and very safe.
Once you download the Adobe Reader, you are ready to receive my e-book.
My e-books all come as a .PDF file, as an attachment. Most modern e-mails now have virus scanners so you'll know this file is safe to open, and when you click to download the attachment, the virus scanner examines the file automatically, and it will open it automatically. You have the option of opening the file or saving the file to your hard-drive, most likely in "My Documents."
Okay, now what?
You have several options.
1. You can read the e-book from your computer screen and close it out when you're done. As long as you keep your e-mail in your in-box, you'll always have my file. If you save it to "My Documents," you'll always have it to read.
2. You can print out all of it, or selected passages. Simply click on the "Print" option/icon on your Adobe Reader, and it will give you options as to print it all or a range of pages.
My intent on sending a digital file via e-mail is to save the trees (unless you want to print it out), save on postage (no shipping charges) and to make my e-book available to you immediately (no postal delays).
And thank you for your support and encouragement.
